On Friday 1st September, Noble Park campus and Casey campus both hosted the International Day Concert to celebrate cultural diversity. Students dressed up in beautiful cultural costumes and showcased performances unique to their cultures. There were Armenian wedding dance, pop song from China, African dance, French sings, Afghani fashion parade, Cambodian coconut shell dance, a magic show and many more. Thanks to all staff who helped organise this event.
Casey campus celebrated a successful open morning with fifteen primary and secondary mainstream teachers from local schools coming to observe EAL new arrival classes in action at Casey campus.
Noble Park English Language School has always placed an emphasis on educating our students about Australian history and Aboriginal history. Just like previous years, we celebrated NAIDOC Week and Sorry Day with a very special performance by Big Al and his sons from Western Creations. Students participated in fun Aboriginal dances and learnt about indigenous culture. Thanks very much for the excellent performances, and thanks to the hardworking staff who organised this amazing event.
On Friday 9th December, Noble Park Campus had a Topsy Turvy Dress Up day. Students and teachers could wear their tops and jackets backwards, different shoes, mismatching socks and any whacky funky costumes!
